Day 1 · behind me
Tarifa
The southern tip of mainland Europe, with Morocco across the strait. I set off on 21 September.
Day 15 of 23 · on the plan, near Valencia
It’s not necessarily about the running. It’s about spreading a little bit of hope.

The route, in five stretches
Press named the regions, not the roads, and there is no published day-by-day. The days here are shares of the 23, not my diary.
Day 1 · behind me
The southern tip of mainland Europe, with Morocco across the strait. I set off on 21 September.
About days 1 to 6 · behind me
Marbella, Málaga, Nerja, Motril, Almería. The first long days along the Mediterranean, 65 kilometres or more each one.
About days 7 to 13 · behind me
Mojácar, Águilas, Cartagena, then up through Alicante, Benidorm and Dénia.
About days 14 to 15 · I’m here
The flat middle of the run. Past Valencia and on to Castellón.
About days 16 to 23 · still to come
Tarragona, Barcelona, Girona, then Cadaqués and the lighthouse at Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of mainland Spain. Planned for 13 October.
This isn’t just a run. It’s 23 days of live storytelling.

The marker shows where the plan has me today, not a live GPS. Press and the sponsor say I’d be the first Irish person to run this route, as reported by the Dublin Gazette and Hi Style. Elave Apothecary Skincare is the headline sponsor.

By August 2025 there were 10 clubs in 10 counties. The aim is all 32.
